The challenge. The Owner’s Wife uses beers from its sister brewery to create distinctive vinegars—which, in turn, are used to prepare menu items that pair naturally with their related beers. We helped this unique restaurant set itself apart with an equally well-crafted brand identity.

The answer. We began by fashioning a cameo-like logo, showing a “wife” whose profile included elements of food and drink. In addition to featuring that logo on signage, dishes and glassware, we created packaging for the venue’s house-made consumables. Our branding system differentiated between the restaurant, its vinegars, and its conservas, while a family of color-coded labels identified the specific contents of each conservas tin.
