The challenge. Cabela’s is one of the most recognizable brands in outdoor recreation. They’re particularly well-known for their unique retail experiences, featuring large aquariums, mountain landscapes and wildlife taxidermy. So when they opened a store in Noblesville, they knew they needed an expert guide who would know the local terrain.

The answer. Our PR team acted as an extension of Cabela’s grand opening team. After developing personalized pitches to prospective reporters, we executed a media day that featured 28 interviews and resulted in 165 media placements. Ultimately, we welcomed more than 4,000 customers in the first four hours—one of the best-attended openings in Cabela’s history.
